Clare Bailey, Founder of Future High Street Summit ConferencesClare Bailey, The Retail Champion, is a leading UK retail expert and sought-after retail speaker. She is a frequent media contributor, regularly featured on BBC, ITV, Channel 5, Sky and Bloomberg TV News, various radio broadcasts, in trade press and digital media, commenting on issues affecting retail and the high street.

Clare is most well-known for championing smaller, independent retailers and for her passion for the emerging social, experiential high street of the future.

She is author of 2 books published by Kogan Page, the first 'The Retail Champion: 10 steps to Retail Success', was published in July 2012. Karen Turnbull, Economic Growth Development Manager, Colchester Borough Council     Karen is an experienced and qualified economic development and marketing practitioner with more than 35 years' experience in the private and public sectors.

Colchester is one of the fastest growing districts in the country and one of a few places with Ultrafast Broadband giving it digital distinctiveness.

As a core member of Colchester Borough Council's Economic Growth team Karen's specialism involves place making particularly around inward investment, tourism, retail and the night time economy. The overall aim is to make a real difference to the quality of life for people in Colchester and to make Colchester an attractive proposition for further inward investment.

Sven Latham, Data Analyst, Chichester BID

Sven Latham, Data Analyst, Chichester BID    Sven Latham is the resident data analyst for Chichester BID, looking at data from various sources (including footfall, wifi, sales, highways and car parks) and combining these to understand the impact of events & activities in the city centre.

Using this data, Sven produces regular performance reports, AGM presentations and manages the data dashboard for the BID's members.

Guy Douglas, Partnerships Director, Clockwork City

Guy Douglas, Partnerships Director, Clockwork City   Guy Douglas is an expert in developing 'Digital Places'.

He is the Principal Consultant to the Future High Street Forum's Digital High Street Advisory Board, and has authored various policy reports, such as 'Digital High Street 2020' for DCLG and the 'Digital High Street Hub' for Innovate UK.

He is also the Project Secretariat for the Digital High Street Advisory Board, which includes a range of public, private and industry umbrella organisations.
While working for the Association of Town and City Managerment, Guy co-created the national Digital Business Skills training content alongside National Skills Academy for Retail.

Anne Risselada PhD., Senior Researcher, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Anne Risselada is a senior researcher at the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Her main research focus is on town centre partnerships and how collective approaches to the (online) marketing of high streets, town centres and other urban shopping districts can contribute to future-proof urban shopping districts.

Currently she leads a two-year research project on how Town Centre Partnerships collectively use technology-based activities (including the use of online communication and sales channels) to help them effectively market their town centre.

Daphne Hagen, Lecturer and PhD candidate, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Daphne Hagen is lecturer and PhD candidate at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS).

Her main research focus is on Town Centre Partnerships and how their collective digital marketing activities impact the attractiveness of town centres.

From his roots in public event branding to rebranding shopping centres, he has amassed a large repertoire of examples of unique place making solutions.

Credited with inventing the virtual shop graphic, being a forerunner of Pop Up shops and bringing the first AR game to the market he is one of the few place innovators in the country combining graphics, lights and digital experiences.

It's #WDYT campaign helps towns and retailers drive footfall to UK High Streets and has created an index that ranks daily every town in the UK for digital influence.

In 2012 Polly was awarded an OBE for services to Philanthropy.
